There is no “I” in team, “None of us is as smart as all of us”, “No one can whistle a symphony” and so on and so on. Just about everywhere you look there are quotes and gurus and ideas on what makes a great team. But in our experience very few people will hand on heart say they work in a High Performing Team. This could be because we have such high expectations now of what a high performing team is. It could be because we are nervous about saying we are high performing because that might bring an unwelcome spotlight on our processes, results etcetera. Or it could be because most of us still don’t work in very high performing teams! We often get asked “Can you run a team day for us?” and we say “Yes, of course we can”. We then ask what people want their team day to achieve and it’s surprising how often they don’t really know. They know in vague terms and they have a feeling about what they want but often struggle to say what it is they want to change or fix. Improving team work is a huge area that encompasses a vast range of issues, topics and approaches. At Emerge we believe we can deal with the full gamut of issues and options. We can do fun team builds, we can do visioning workshops, we can help sick teams get better, we can work exclusively with whole teams or just managers, we can work with senior executives or junior team leaders and everybody in-between. How can we do all this? Well our broad range of associates means we can always find the right person for the right team no matter the issue. So just have a think – “What do you want to get out of doing this training?” Who We Can HelpAnyone who works in or manages a team – so – everyone really!!
