Reflecting on 2018

What a year it has been for Emerge and our partnered clients. We’ve enjoyed a flourishing year that’s seen our team implement a vast array of learning solutions across multiple industries around the globe. We’ve grown our team with some exciting talent that is suitably positioned to support our clients across all aspects of people development and will be providing our wonderful clients with introductions to these amazing people in the new year. We’re very excited about what 2019 holds…

This year our Managing Director, Gillian Jones-Williams, conducted a ‘Speakathon’ for International Women’s Day – delivering for one hour at 5 different London organisations on the ‘8 Characteristics of Successful Women’ and the results were amazing! Our commitment to celebrating this day was absolutely no charge for these sessions, however, we did kindly ask all organisations to make a donation to our partner charity – Aurora New Dawn.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As patron of Aurora New Dawn – an organisation which supports victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, rape and stalking, Gillian was able to inspire organisations around how women can be successful inside and outside of work. A link to the session can be found here and we would be more than happy for you to share this around your organisation. Through these events, Emerge was able to raise over £2,000 for this worthy cause. If you would like the opportunity of Gillian speaking at your organisation on March 8th for International Women’s Day 2019 please reply to this newsletter and we will be in contact to discuss this further with you. But be quick – these sessions have proven to be very popular!

In 2019 our clients can expect Emerge to be introducing new programmes and tools to support their people development goals. We are extremely excited to see our RISE Women’s Development Programme continue to grow across the globe and will be launching a simply brilliant RISE app to help our delegates to keep the momentum going.

Emerge are also very proud to be supporting a number of organisations with implementing a culture of inclusion and diversity and have been chosen to support because of our expertise, creativity and professional team. Everyone at Emerge would like to wish our clients and partners a very Merry Christmas and a festive season that offers great times with family, friends and all the happiness that this time of year brings. Here’s to a positive 2019 that is full of joy, prosperity and health.

Emerge is committed to supporting local charities for those that are most in need at this time of year. This year, instead of sending out Christmas cards, Emerge will be supporting a wonderful charity, Football for Cancer, and will be making a donation to their cause.

Football for Cancer supports local families who are going through one of the toughest times in their lives. As a local charity, they are able to act fast and can provide much-needed funds via the Grant Scheme, sometimes in less than 24 hours. they provide directly to families to try and alleviate the financial burden that coping with this disease can cause. They also make regular donations to local and national Cancer charities working in our community across the South.
