How do we transform individual coaching capability?

Imagine that you've identified the key components of your coaching culture and you know how to achieve it.  However, you still need to develop the coaching capability of your people to gain the momentum it needs.

You can have your own workshop designed by Emerge.  This workshop allows you not only to develop the coaching skills of your team but also to give an opportunity to practice skills in an interim period and then come back to the workshop, reflect, consolidate and extend skills.

The Coaching Training Programme is a real hands-on experience that is based on both input and output - so we can guarantee real learning takes place.

 What makes this programme different from others?

First of all, this programme is accredited with the Institute of Leadership and Management.  This means that at the end of the programme - assuming success - your teams will go away with a qualification that they can build on.  Plus it's designed by coaches for coaches.  So you'll benefit from the experiences of practising coaches.

Therefore, you get the peace of mind of a professionally developed programme which focuses on delivering real life coaching skills and the teams get the benefit of learning coaching from the experts, practising in a safe environment and the added bonus of using real life cases.

What's the approach?

The two day programme is divided into two sections - the first day sets the scene for the coaching culture and delivers the foundation coaching skills.  After that the teams go away and coach up to 6 team members.  This forms the basis of their portfolio for the ILM certificate.

After a few weeks they come back for the second day of the programme when they review their practical sessions and build on their new skills with more in-depth coaching tools an skills.

The Programme is all about moving from transactional to transformation so at the end of the second day we ask them to plan for their ongoing development and coaching activities.
