Gillian Jones-Williams is an author & founder and Managing Director of Emerge Development Consultancy. Gillian’s main focus is in organisational strategy development and change initiatives and she has successfully implemented HR strategies and projects, coaching and mentoring strategies and visions for many organisations. Her understanding and application of psychology, hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming allows her to build deep rapport and achieve outstanding and lasting behavioural changes with individuals and groups.
Gillian partners with many organisations to implement organisational changes and has designed and delivered programmes of varying sizes to national organisations and independent companies. She works well in multinational cultures having facilitated events and coached executives in Paris, Milan, Hamburg, The Netherlands, Barcelona, Norway, Brussels, Madrid, Dublin, Portugal, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, USA, China and Australia.
Gillian also speaks at major conferences and events. She is proud of many achievements over the last 20 years. These include building a successful business that works with the most wonderful clients and is renowned for the most creative team who deliver quality products and services. Gillian, along with her co-author Ro Gorell published “50 Top Tools for Coaching” in 2009 which has just recently been published as a third edition and then wrote “How to Create a Coaching Culture” to be published soon as a second edition plus contributing to Carol Wilson’s book on Performance Coaching that was endorsed by Sir Richard Branson.
Over recent years Gillian’s main focus has been leadership development, coaching, studying with Leaders that empower their staff to achieve great performance and working with organisations to change the culture to an empowered workforce through coaching culture strategy. Gillian has been working in the Middle East for over 6 years developing and coaching leaders and has recently formed and launched the Learning and Development Forum in Dubai to allow L & D professionals to share experiences. She has recently developed a Women’s Development programme following many years of experience in coaching senior female Executives.
Global Head of Programmes
A consultant and facilitator with over 25 years’ successful experience of consulting on Leadership and Management for organisations at senior and board level. Steven has experience of delivering training courses to large organisations globally, developing organisational strategy and defining approaches to diverse market sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Nuclear Decommissioning, Utilities and Construction.
Steven has worked with Emerge as a training consultant for over 15 years, and has recently joined the team on a permanent basis as our Global Head of Programmes. As a training consultant, Steven has developed and delivered courses in project and risk management, business winning and organisational development, strategy and category management amongst others. He regularly delivers programmes on leadership and management, transformational change, leading high performing teams and negotiating and influencing skills.
Steven has been involved in global training for multinational organisations including BAE Systems, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Thales, General Dynamics, Eurofighter, Total and BP. His main areas of expertise include leadership and management, project controls, project and programme management, cost management, risk management, corporate performance, strategy, category management and blended learning. He has also been involved in integrating IT systems and processes to provide effective training solutions that bring people, processes and technology together.
Programme Designer / Facilitator
Rob is a consultant, programme designer, account manager and facilitator at Emerge.
He has over 20 years’ of experience in designing and delivering training. He always brings his highly creative and pragmatic approach to his design & delivery. Robs’ programmes include innovative exercises that while they are fun and challenging, they also have a positive impact on the delegates learning.
He has also acquired qualifications in; Strength Deployment Inventory, Belbin, Diploma in Business Coaching, RSA Assessor Award and is MBTI Step 1 Accredited.
Totally customer focused, Rob ensures that the development interventions he designs and delivers meet the specific objectives and needs agreed with the client.
Rob has delivered training courses across the globe for a variety of multinational companies. These have included BAE Systems, Airbus, PWC, Saudi Development Training and Domino.
His areas of expertise include performance management, leadership, team building, graduate development, consultative selling, negotiation skills and leading change.
Rob has worked in a wide variety of business sectors; aerospace, defence, manufacturing, insurance, banking and media.
Rob has outstanding creativity and design skills and spends a lot of his time designing and writing the courses that the Emerge facilitators then deliver to the customer. This includes writing all the support materials, creating new exercises, questionnaires etcetera.
